Experienced account manager – publications
Are you an ambitious account manager with a passion for rare diseases? We have an opportunity to join a fast-paced and innovative publications account supporting a patient-centric global client. .
The role
In this role, you’ll collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver impactful publications and related enhanced content in the rare disease space. You will drive and contribute to the management of an existing strong client relationship, develop proposals and proactively manage budgets and timelines. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide-range of publications planning and delivery activities including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, congress materials and ‘extender’ digital resources on an account of high significance to AMICULUM.
You can choose to work from any of our UK offices or completely remotely from anywhere within the UK or Ireland.
Key responsibilities
- Proactive and insightful account management, developing an in-depth understanding of the clients’ needs, processes and environment to support this novel account.
- Project management and coordination of deliverables, confidently tracking projects, ensuring alignment with objectives, and providing support to the editorial team.
- Maintaining the financial health of the account through strong commercial acumen, exercising good judgement and making timely decisions regarding revenue and forecasting.
- Key point of contact for clients, medical experts and third-party suppliers, building effective and efficient partnerships rooted in trust.
- Driving and contributing to account level project planning and knowledge sharing.
- Driving and contributing to organic growth of the account, supporting in ideas generation and development of new project proposals.
- Building collaborative partnerships across internal teams.
What you’ll need
- Previous client services experience at a healthcare communications agency, including support of publications projects
- A strong background in life sciences
- A drive for delivering work of the highest quality
- An enthusiasm for working collaboratively within a team
- A highly organized, proactive and solution-focused approach
- The ability to maintain excellent attention to detail while working on multiple projects
- The ability to keep calm under pressure
- Experience with publications management systems
