Entry-level account executive
We’re on the lookout for an entry-level account executive to join our growing team and provide support across two global rare disease accounts. This is an opportunity to become part of an established team and begin your career in medical communications, working on significant projects in endocrinology and oncology.
The role
We specialize in creating accurate, engaging scientific content and delivering it across a range of communication channels to achieve maximum reach and impact. Our team has earned a strong reputation among global clients for consistently delivering high-quality work and providing exceptional client service.
In response to the continued growth of our team, we are creating an exciting opportunity for an entry-level account executive to join our client services team in the UK. This role spans two key rare disease accounts, with a primary focus on publications.
The role can be based at any of our UK offices or completely at home within the UK or Ireland.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborating effectively with editorial, client services, digital and design colleagues to ensure the smooth running of projects from briefing to delivery
- Developing a positive client partnership both through day-to-day support and by understanding clients’ challenges to actively contribute to organic growth
- Confidently maintaining the financial management of projects, including forecasting, invoicing and budget reporting to clients
What you’ll need
- An academic background in the life sciences or an understanding or interest in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects to the agreed deadlines
- The ability to work flexibly, professionally and enthusiastically with client teams and external experts
- A proactive approach, taking responsibility for managing competing demands on your time
- An eagerness to learn and receive feedback as part of your development process
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to collaborate effectively with colleagues as part of an integrated account team
- An exceptional eye for detail and accuracy
- An intellectual curiosity with an open and approachable attitude
